Mange ill be more than happy if post this and the reason why i came out with topic is because of your last couple posts about Tanzania not being well know abroad. First, this is not true we are known abroad. Ngoja nikamue kiswahili ili wadau wengi waninyake.
Sio kweli kuwa Tanzania haijulikani nje, Tanzania inajulikana nje na mara nyingi ukiwauliza ama ukiulizwa na watu wanalioenda shule watajua unaongelea nchi gani. Ni kweli ukimuliza mtu ambaye never bother to learn about the world surrounding them hawezi kujua Tanzania iko wapi na watu kama hao tunawaita ma idiot na hawawezi kutuumiza vichwa..mfano mzuri ni Sarah palin mgombea mwenza wa urais marekani ambaye alikuwa hata hajui kama africa ni bara na siku zote alikuwa anajua Africa ni nchi moja.
Sasa nikija kwenye mada kuu ya post hii ni kuwa Hivi kuna haja kweli ya sisi waTanzania kusema im from Tanzania and Tanzania is close to Kenya? Mtazamo wangu ni kuwa watu wengi wana Obama fever kwamba kwa vile baba yake Obama anatoka Kenya basi wataeleweka wakisema Tanzania is close to Kenya. Why most of us Tanzanians abroad cant express ourselves well? Instead of taking our time and use the opportunity to tell people abroad that Tanzania is in East Africa and refer to great attractions within it such as Kilimanjaro mountain most people will jump to a shortcut and say Tanzania is close Kenya. This is totally Wrong.
The act of telling people that Tanzania is close to Kenya does not help at all to make Tanzania known abroad. Instead, it makes Kenya even more popular without you guys noticing. For instance if you asked a stranger where she/he was from and their response was im from United states and united states in close to Canada...Would you be satisfied with that answer?
Lastly, Sometime we mispronounce The name of our beautiful country. There is a way we pronounced the name of our country back when we were in primary school (the Tanzanian way) Thats not how they pronounce it and if you pronounce that way they might not understand what you talking about. The bottom line here is Tanzanians abroads need to learn how to express themselves well especially when it comes to expressing about Tanzania. Take ur time and tell what do we have in Tanzania and not the way y'all been saying Tanzania is close to Kenya.
